Our engineers hold SAV Advanced HIU Service Engineer certification (PERS-30839). If your block is connected to a district heat network, tell us which one and we will confirm what we can quote for.

Scope is set per block. It usually includes communal boiler and pump servicing, HIU, FCU and MVHR servicing where fitted, air conditioning servicing under our REFCOM F-Gas certificate (REF1024168), and compliance certificates for each flat. Blocks are priced per unit, the survey is credited against year one, and there is no charge for flats where we cannot get access.

Landlords with gas appliances need an annual Gas Safety Certificate (CP12) from a Gas Safe registered engineer, and an EICR at least every 5 years for privately rented homes. PAT testing is advisable where you supply appliances. Some rented properties in the borough also need a council licence, for example under the council's additional licensing for HMOs or its selective licensing for named streets, so check the council's current licensing pages for your address.
